Jody Hice – Pulpit to Podcast to Politics
In 2003 Jody Hice was thrust into the public arena when the ACLU instigated a lawsuit against the Barrow County Georgia Board of Commissioners to force removal of a display of the Ten Commandments from the county’s Courthouse. Viewing this as an attack upon the freedom of religious expression and upon the cultural and spiritual heritage of our nation, Jody founded Ten Commandments – Georgia, Inc. to raise money to pay for the county’s legal defense, saving taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Kathy Ireland – Then and Now
Kathy Ireland got her start as a supermodel – mostly known for her numerous appearances in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit editions. However, early in her career she found Christ and has turned her celebrity status into a platform for global change. This two part interview features her testimony of conversion to Christ and some of the challenges she faced in the world of modeling, followed by what God is doing now through her ministry.
I was impressed with HEART Ministry from the first time I set foot on their premises a couple of years ago to do a video project. It’s actually an humble place, but Jane Sheldon has been building on it from day one. The important thing is they do a wonderful work.
As she says in her interview, she started with a small house on a few acres of land, and a challenge… to start a Christ-centered program to help women in trouble because of substance abuse. Jane and the staff love what they do, and the successes are clear; but she gives all the credit to God who has changed the lives of hundreds of women through His forgiveness and love.

BRIAN “HEAD” WELCH – It takes all kinds!
A few years back I became aware of the metal group “KORN”. It seemed every teenager in the mall who had a variety of hardware on their clothes and body was wearing a KORN T-shirt. My impression of the group was not favorable, but admittedly based on prejudice. When it seemed KORN was it it’s peak – something changed. It’s lead guitarist, Brian “head” Welch quit the band on the verge of a 20 million $ signing bonus with Sony Records. Why? Because he found Jesus.
I have to admit – I was skeptical of how this interview would go. I was expecting some shallow responses to my questions. I was wrong – and I repented of my judgmental attitude. Brian demonstrates a deep commitment to Christ and a humble spirit of discipleship. You really must listen!
Letters to God
It was a joy to speak with producer David Nixon as he discussed his new film, Letters to God. Nixon was a part of the team that brought you Facing the Giants and Fireproof and in Letters, he tells the true story of a child with cancer who writes gracious letters to all of his friends. The mailman who delivers the letters gets impacted too. It was quite an interview.
