Jeff Allen: Funny man with a Sobering Story

The first time I heard of Jeff Allen, my dad had brought one of his comedy videos on our annual family vacation.  I’ll never forget laughing until my side’s ached as he talked about the gritty truth of family life.  After winning my heart through his humor, he touched as he told of his own personal struggles.  Jeff is a picture of what God’s grace can do when communicated through a loving Christian friend.  He and his wife were literally 10 minutes from filing for divorce. He was bankrupt and an alcoholic.  When he was at bottom he remembered a resource a friend had giving him months ago – some Bible Study tapes.  With no other possible solutions, Jeff looked to Jesus Christ and was saved.  It was a joy hearing the sincerity in Jeff’s voice during this interview.
